Zephyr Jarmon

Operations Manager and Executive Assistant

Zephyr Jarmon is the Operations Manager and Executive Assistant at For The People, where she works to build operational infrastructure and systems, supports ongoing projects, and strengthens internal relationships across the organization.

Prior to For The People, Zephyr was the Executive Assistant at a celebrated interior design firm in San Francisco. There, she supported the Principal and CEO in managing an elite clientele across 60+ active projects and assisted in press relations and copywriting for the firm.

Zephyr’s diverse work experiences also include Coordinator at an award-winning Bay Area spa, Chef, Barista, and avid volunteer. She grew up in Austin, TX, attended the University of Texas at Austin, and moved to Oakland in 2012. Her activist family raised her to see life through a lens of political engagement and the fight for equity and justice, a passion that she still carries with her today.

Zephyr spends her free time organizing local campaigns and initiatives centered around social and criminal justice reform, workers’ rights, and politics. Her other passion in life is singing; she is a member of the Free Key Choir, a community choir that uplifts local musicians and advocates for accessibility in the classical music sphere.
