Karen Stinson is the Administrative Human Resources Director at For The People, where she manages administrative operations including business planning, Human Resources, and more. 

Over the course of her career, Karen has gained experience working for a range of organizations, including fiscal, administrative, and Board positions in the areas of social justice, foster youth support, scholarships, athletics, and the arts. Karen's experience helping lead nonprofit organizations, along with her passion for advancing equality through reform, brought her to For The People.

Karen is also an Elly Award-nominated costume designer. In her free time, she crafts costumes for community theater in the Sacramento area. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento, and lives in the Sacramento area with her family.
