Chaz Dorsey

People and Workplace Coordinator 

Charles Dorsey is the People and Workplace Coordinator at For The People, dedicated to supporting the people and operations of the organization. With a wealth of experience in administrative support, Charles has been instrumental in creating and maintaining operational excellence within start-up, tech, and nonprofit sectors. He is passionate about promoting inclusive environments that serve all members of the community, and actively works to identify and eliminate systemic barriers that disproportionately affect marginalized groups.

As a people professional, Charles is committed to fostering diversity, inclusion, justice, and equity (DIJE) in his workplace and beyond. He has developed and implemented strategies to promote DIJE internally, while also communicating these efforts with external audiences. He continuously leverages his skills to facilitate and build strong relationships and collaborative partnerships. 

Charles holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California Baptist University. When he is not at work, Charles enjoys indulging in his love of rollerskating and tending to his thriving indoor urban jungle. He is based in California’s Bay Area.
