Paula Kutansky-Brown is Chief Operating Officer at For The People, overseeing administrative and operational functions to help FTP scale. 

She brings deep expertise in scaling organizations from small, local, single-digit teams into large national and international operations. Paula's experience spans trial work in the area of Labor & Employment, Compliance oversight for large multinational corporations, executive roles in academia, and responsibility as general counsel and trusted advisor to international executives focused on disrupting the tech world.

A 2020 recipient of the Women, Influence & Power in Law Award for Collaborative Leadership, Paula is committed to bringing structure, consistency, accountability, and rigor to organizations—while preserving the heart and soul of what makes each organization unique and impactful. Paula is a frequent guest lecturer at undergraduate institutions and law schools on the topic of Business Ethics. 

In her free time, Paula enjoys walking on the beach with her husband and dogs, as well as cooking and cake-decorating for her loved ones. She lives with her family in Marin County.
