For The People and Leading Law Professors Submit Letter to United States Sentencing Commission

For The People and two leading law professors submitted a joint letter urging the United States Sentencing Commission to consider priorities for the 2024-2025 Guidelines amendment cycle. Together, Professor Douglas A. Berman (The Ohio State University Moritz School of Law), Professor Erica Zunkel (The Law School at The University of Chicago), and For The People propose a "second look" agenda, including Prosecutor-Initiated Resentencing, as a priority for the 2024-2025 Amendment Cycle.
